Happy Easter! It was a beautiful day to celebrate our Lord's Resurrection with family and friends. I just wanted to remind everyone that this Saturday April 6th will be our rehearsal and project time for First Communion starting at 9:00. I also know it is the reschedule for Bishop Grimes Games. I know the children who previously were signed up to attend it. But there may be some changes for children with the reschedule. So, if your child will be attending Bishop Grimes Games, please just confirm that with me so I have an accurate count for Saturday. We will start the time Saturday with Father Chris up in the church. When he is done, we will briefly go through placement of families. Then, we will move down to the large room under the church and view a 10-minute video entitled Presence: For Children: The Miracle at Every Mass presented by Fr. John Riley. When that is done, we will work on a project for First Communion. It is much simpler than the banners last year ---hot glue not necessary thank heavens. I have included this week a short 3-minute Juice Box review of Holy Communion from Juice Box which uses Lego figures. I also have included the pages of a book we made last class on the steps to receiving Holy Communion, Some students left their book without a name, so I included it here. That book should be reviewed prior to practice on Saturday. I hope you have a great week and are able to find some of God's Blessings along the way.
