The next part of your child's preparation for First Sacraments begins this Saturday, January 20th from 9:00-10:30. To keep everyone safe and learning I want to go over the following procedures for the First Sacrament Classes. We ask that all parents come in and drop off their child and come in to pick them up. (If there is going to be a change with another family member or adult picking up, please let one of the instructors know or write a note. No child is going with another friend or classmates' family unless we have been told in advance.) Please bring your child downstairs. The other class instructors and I will be down in the basement of the church with name tags etc. to get everyone organized and in the direction of where they need to go. We have the students divided up into classes. Any information we have been told about your child's learning style or special needs has been taken into account. (If we have been informed) Our goal is for all children in our First Sacraments Program at St. Rose to be successful in receiving the sacraments and able to enrich their relationship with our Lord. So, you letting me know is a huge help with that.
Please try to be on time dropping off and picking up. If you happen to be late and/or early there will be an adult at the Welcome Desk to help you. Your child will be receiving a packet each time they come to preparation. (I'm trying to make sure they are a different color each week.) Please try and review it with them before the next class. If they have not seen the two videos from Superbook on Creation and The Ten Commandments, please make sure they do before Saturday. When picking up this Saturday please be aware that St. Rose School will be having their Open House. So, parking may be a little tricky.
